About Martine Singh...

Self-taught, it was ten years ago that the idea took root, as she was working as a commercial assistant in a well-known photographic laboratory. From that time, photography became her life.

Since then, she has continued to develop her skills, not only in using different materials and photographic techniques, but also through spending time with professionals and studying manuals. Principally of course it was through spending time herself, in the field, hour after hour, until she was sufficiently at ease to be able to produce the superb images that are worthy of the name.

Suddenly, though, the world of the photograph crumbled in the face of the digital revolution. Unfazed, she sought to re-invent her profession, never thinking of abandoning it.

Having used the Internet as a research tool for her own work, Martine Singh decided to sell her photos on line... but not in a traditional way like some of her fellow artists. Her idea was original and unexpected.

The concept was born...
